I completed a degree in the Culture of Russia and Neighbouring Nations at the Jagiellonian University, and I’m currently finishing a master’s in Specialised Russian Translation at the same university. During my studies, I also had the chance to learn the basics of Ukrainian. Before that, I prepared students for their school-leaving exam in Polish, and for the past year I’ve been working at Mieć Wenę, teaching Polish as a foreign language.
I work with students at all levels — from the very basics right up to C2 — and I’ve also got experience preparing students for state exams. In my lessons, what matters most to me is an individual approach and tailoring each lesson to the student’s needs, along with a relaxed, stress-free atmosphere.
Alongside Polish, I’m interested in other languages too — how they’re built, how they evolve and how they shape the culture of the people who speak them. I’m fluent in Russian and English, and I’ve also studied French and Ukrainian. My greatest passion is literature: I read everything, from the classics through reportage to crime novels and young adult fiction. I love wandering around the city, discovering and photographing intriguing, off-the-beaten-track places. I adore animals, dogs especially. I’m also an amateur psychology enthusiast.
