Years of teaching experience: 5

I completed a degree in Russian philology at the University of Wrocław, where I defended my bachelor’s thesis in June 2024. I’m now continuing my studies at the same university, reading law. I’ve been teaching Polish as a foreign language for almost five years. I started out while I was still a student, and since then I’ve had the chance to work with people at all sorts of levels and with learners who have very different needs and goals — at the moment, I focus on preparing students for the state exams at B1 and B2.
I’ve visited over 20 countries, but you’re unlikely to find me by the hotel pool. I’m far more drawn to old churches, monasteries, museums and places where you can really feel the weight of history. One of my favourite trips was Uzbekistan — I still look back on that journey along the Silk Road with enormous fondness.
If you spot me out and about, I’ve probably got my headphones on — and on the playlist you’ll find Kayah & Bregović, Krzysztof Cugowski or a bit of old-school Disney.
I collect pottery, Bolesławiec ceramics especially. The blue dabs, the flowers, the polka dots — I find them absolutely delightful.
In my spare time I’m also keen on literature, nineteenth-century writing in particular. My favourite author is Fyodor Dostoevsky.
