Years of teaching experience: 3

I’m a teacher of Polish as a foreign language with three years of teaching experience. I’ve lived in Poland for nine years, which means I know not just the language inside out but also the realities of everyday life here. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Management and a postgraduate qualification in Ukrainian–Polish translation.
In my lessons, I put the emphasis on communication, putting the language to practical use and creating an atmosphere where you can speak freely and aren’t afraid to make mistakes. I work with students at a range of levels, from A1 to B2+, adapting my methods and materials to their individual needs, goals and interests.
Outside work, I love travelling, discovering new places and exploring the local culture. In my spare time, I like to catch up with the people close to me, listen to music and learn languages — at the moment I’m building on my Italian. I also love a good chat over a nice coffee, spontaneous trips away and anything that offers a break from the everyday routine.
I believe that learning a language isn’t only about grammar and vocabulary — above all, it’s a chance to get to know people, culture and a different way of looking at the world. That’s why I try to create an atmosphere in my lessons where you can not only learn Polish but also have a good time and feel at ease.
