I’ve been teaching Polish since 2022, working mainly with adults at a range of levels — from A0 right up to B2. In my lessons, I focus above all on putting the language to practical use and breaking down the barrier to speaking. I particularly love watching the moment when a student starts to speak more and more freely and stops being afraid of making mistakes. I’ve also got experience preparing students for the B1 certificate exam.
My lessons are relaxed and conversational above all, but I always try to adapt the way I work to each student’s individual needs and goals. It matters to me that lessons aren’t just effective but enjoyable too, and that they give the student a real sense that they’re making progress.
Away from teaching Polish, I spend a good deal of my free time on gardening. My other passion is photography — I especially love capturing interesting places, nature and everyday moments in a single frame.
I think my interests say a lot about my approach to teaching, too — I like to observe, look for interesting solutions and pay attention to detail. In my lessons, I try to create an atmosphere where students can feel at ease and, above all, do plenty of talking.
