Years of teaching experience: 4

I’m a linguist. In Lublin, I completed my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Polish philology with distinction. I hold teaching and glottodidactic qualifications (teaching Polish as a foreign language) and I’m an examiner for the state certification exams. I’m currently continuing my studies at a doctoral school, carrying out research and writing my doctoral thesis in the field of linguistics. Language fascinates me every single day — if someone asks where a particular word comes from, the world stops for a moment and I simply have to look it up in the dictionaries there and then!
What I value most in working with students is partnership and a two-way exchange. I prepare students for the state exams and for TELC. I adapt the pace and the topics of each lesson to the student, with a particular emphasis on free-flowing communication and speaking. Nothing gives me as much joy as watching my students make progress!
I love observing people and the world around us — something I often try to capture through the lens of my analogue camera. Music is a huge passion of mine: I’ve sung in a choir for years and have had the chance to perform in various countries. The best way for me to unwind is travelling — I love discovering new places and soaking up the local atmosphere.
